Product Development Manager - Kingston

This role is key in designing and improving products, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, so if you are passionate about innovation and product development, and have experience in a food manufacturing environment, we would like you to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new product ideas and improvements in line with the Product    Development Plan.
  • Research, create, and build prototypes to meet design specifications.
  • Ensure formulations comply with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
  • Work alongside the Marketing & Business Development Manager to enhance existing products based on customer feedback and production challenges.
  • Plan and execute product testing, sensory evaluations, and stability studies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Manage product development timelines, budgets, and documentation.
  • Assist in administrative tasks, including report generation and meeting documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacology or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
