Job Summary:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm, KPMG United States (“the Client”).  The Client is seeking a new Market Data Service (MDS) category-aligned role at KJESS to support its operations. The MDS team oversees and manages KPMG’s firmwide 3rd party data and research content throughout the lifecycle, from data demand, through research, acquisition and post-acquisition cataloging, marketing, training and reporting. 


JOB SUMMARY: 

As a KJESS team member, you will be responsible for a variety of operational support within the MDS team, including contract renewals, low dollar new acquisitions, public source T&C reviews and cataloging of data assets, among other duties. You will also be relied upon to be the SME on internal contracting systems such as Coupa and IX and liaise with other JESS colleagues as necessary to facilitate/expedite other JESS-supported activities such as Sentinel checks/approvals and the Third Party Compliance process. You will be accountable for providing a high level of customer service to our MDS stakeholders, guiding them through the end-to-end contracting process as necessary.
You are a hands-on self-starter who proactively communicates in a clear and concise manner across written and verbal mediums.  A strong sense of detail and driver of results is a must, including a heavy emphasis on prioritization skills with a drive to get tasks done despite a heavy workload.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery 
—Provides operational support to business acquisition leadership and contract execution SMEs to drive acquisition activities and operational flow in alignment with targeted operational SLAs
—Facilitates execution of administration and progress of contracting systems workflow (Coupa, IX, DocuSign, JIRA, etc.) to support data acquisition completion and transition to data ingestion/catalog/portfolio management
—Supports capture, indexing, and maintenance of authoritative record of contract documentation, including relevant data contracts, MSAs, NDAs, service agreements, data consumptions models, etc. Ensures MDS data registries remain evergreen as contract documentation evolves with expansions, renewals, etc.
—Provides agile support and collaboration with data handling and portfolio teams for configuration and maintenance of policy-as-code logic, data tagging, DQ guidelines, data classifications (PHI, PII, etc.), permissible use language

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

—Bachelor’s degree required 
—Minimum of three years of experience in a procurement / purchasing role, preferably with direct data-related acquisition experience.


SPECIAL CONDITIONS
—Expected to work in a fast-paced and results driven environment
—Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to perform activities and communicate
