Blewstram is looking for a Process Improvement Associate to join the team, this position is responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation, overseeing resources for developing SOPs, and creating and updating status dashboards.

Department: Process Improvement

Reporting to: Senior Associate (Process Improvement)

Location: 26 Bay Road, St. James, Port of Spain

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

 

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our Process Improvement team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation, overseeing resources for developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and creating and updating status dashboards. The role also involves developing policies, playbooks, methodologies, and guides. A key part of the job is to assist with identifying and implementing improvement initiatives within the organization. You will be expected to collaborate with various teams to develop strategies that support business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Document and maintain detailed process documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.

• Oversee and manage deployed resources in the development of SOPs.

• Create and update status dashboards to provide real-time insights into project progress and performance.

• Develop and maintain playbooks, policies, guides, and methodologies to standardize processes and improve efficiency.

• Identify and analyze existing business processes to improve and enhance organizational performance

• Collaborate with Client Service Managers and the Operations Team to develop and implement strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.

• Conduct research and develop methodologies to support the future growth of the company.

• Identify and address process inefficiencies.

• Train and mentor junior team members, fostering growth within the team.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications and Experience Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum of 1-2 years of process improvement and business transformation experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

 

Skills

• Experience with process mapping (using any BPMN tools) and process documentation

• MS PowerPoint and Word

• In-depth knowledge of accounting and finance functions is a plus

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions.
