The Process Engineering Superintendent (PES) coordinates the activities of the process engineering function for the division or as assigned and ensures the development of projects which achieve efficient plant operations and process safety management.
The Process Engineering Superintendent (PES) coordinates the activities of the process engineering function for the division or as assigned and ensures the development of projects which achieve efficient plant operations and process safety management. This is in support of plant reliability and the achievement of production targets.
Applicants must possess knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental and diversified engineering concepts, theories and practices to achieve engineering objectives as well as an in-depth knowledge of plant operation procedures (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures), plant equipment and process controls. Detailed knowledge of the safety, operational and engineering aspects and the design intent of all plant processes and equipment and knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and the ability to lead in the areas of Process Hazard Analysis and Management of Change are critical.
