A private household is seeking experienced, trustworthy, and professional individuals to fill the following positions:

1. Personal Chef

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Personal Chef to prepare high-quality meals for a private household. The ideal candidate should be organized, discreet, dependable, and able to provide consistent meal preparation based on the household’s preferences and dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals according to dietary preferences and household requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Prepare meals for occasional private events of up to 10 persons.
• Assist with menu planning and grocery coordination as required.
• Ensure meals are prepared and presented to a high standard.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Personal Chef, Private Chef, Professional Cook, or similar role.
• Culinary Arts certification or diploma from a recognized institution preferred. 
• HEART/NSTA Trust Certification in Commercial Food Preparation, Culinary Hearts, or related field. 
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and meal presentation.
• Ability to prepare a variety of meals and accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong references required.
• Must be professional, discreet, trustworthy, and dependable.

2. Nanny

We are seeking a caring, patient, and responsible Nanny to provide attentive care for a toddler in a private household. The successful candidate should be nurturing, safety-conscious, reliable, and experienced in supporting the daily routines and developmental needs of young children.

Schedule

• Weekdays
• Must be available to work every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for a toddler.
• Support daily routines, including meals, rest time, playtime, and hygiene.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the child.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the child’s daily care.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect household privacy at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience caring for toddlers or working in an Early Childhood setting.
• Experience may include work in nurseries, day care centres, basic schools, kindergartens, preschools, Montessori schools, infant departments, infant schools, or private homes.
• NCTVET NVQ-J Level II in Early Childhood Education or equivalent certified training required.
• First Aid training would be an asset.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit preferred.
• Warm, patient, nurturing, and safety-conscious.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Previous childcare references required.
