Role Overview
The Presenter and Reporter serves as a key on-air and editorial representative of company News, responsible for delivering accurate, credible, and engaging business and financial journalism across broadcast and digital platforms. This role combines strong on-camera presentation with rigorous reporting, research, and storytelling, ensuring that Company's content reflects professionalism, clarity, and public trust.
The successful candidate will demonstrate journalistic integrity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex financial and economic information into compelling narratives for a regional and international audience.
Key Responsibilities
On-Air Presentation
- Present live and recorded Company News broadcasts, interviews, and special features with confidence, clarity, and authority.
- Maintain a professional on-screen presence
- Moderate panel discussions, conduct live interviews, and engage guests with insightful, well-researched questions.
Reporting & Editorial Content
- Research, write, and report news stories related to business, finance, capital markets, corporate activity, and economic developments.
- Conduct field reporting, including interviews, press briefings, conferences, and special assignments.
- Ensure all content is accurate, balanced, timely, and aligned with journalistic and editorial standards.
Production & Newsroom Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, editors, and technical teams to develop story ideas, scripts, rundowns, and show formats.
- Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to story planning and content development.
- Assist with pre-production preparation, including script review, fact-checking, and interview research.
Digital & Cross-Platform Engagement
- Support Company's digital presence through content adapted for social media, online video, and other digital platforms.
- Participate in promotional activities, teasers, and branded content where required.
- Represent Company professionally in public engagements and external collaborations.
Professional Conduct & Development
- Uphold company's ethical standards, newsroom policies, and confidentiality requirements.
- Remain current on financial markets, economic trends, and regional business developments.
- Continuously improve presentation, reporting, and storytelling skills through feedback and training.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years experience in broadcast journalism, reporting, or professional media presentation.
- Demonstrated on-camera experience with strong verbal communication and storytelling ability.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging scripts and reports.
