Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Revenue Operations & Payments team in the capacity of:

Pre-authorized Payment/EFT Assistant (Contract)

Update client records with banking information for automatic payment deductions in an accurate and timely manner.

Update policies and any inaccuracies or discrepancies in coding of policies.

Location: Kingston

As a Pre-authorized Payment/EFT Assistant, you will:

• Record and update policy records with all Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) forms (Sagicor/Cayman) received in the Department.
• Examine PAP forms for completeness and accuracy.
• Update the policy records with all changes relevant to the PAP method of payment.
• Return PAP forms with error to the Branches or Client Service Department for correction.
• Investigate and respond to queries relating to PAP.
• Dispatch PAP forms to commercial banks daily.
• Advise the advisors of policy arrears within one day of processing PAP forms.
• Respond to all inquiries regarding PAP payments (Sagicor Life Jamaica/Cayman within specifies time frame.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• Six (6) CXC general proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
• LOMA (parts 1 and 2) or other industry related designation.
• Two (2) years working experience including one (1) year in an operations division of a life insurance company.
• Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Sound human relations and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
