As the heartbeat of our production line, the Plant Team Lead will supervise staff to hit ambitious targets. Additionally, will be the primary guardian of quality and safety, ensuring every cylinder is filled, tested, and sealed to Standards while managing the loading and off-loading of Bulk Tankers.

The Role:
The Plant Team Lead will supervise Operators and Technicians to hit ambitious targets (1,000 cylinders per hour). The position is the primary guardian of quality and safety, ensuring every cylinder is filled, tested, and sealed to standard while managing the loading and off-loading of Bulk Tankers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Excellence: Direct daily workflows to meet 20lb and 100lb production quotas while maintaining 100% accuracy in tare weights and seals.
  • Safety Leadership: Ensure total compliance with the OSH Act and company HSE policies. You will oversee safety devices, conduct Tool Box Talks, and manage the Permit to Work system.
  • Quality Control: Rigorously inspect equipment and finished products to ensure zero-defect distribution.
  • Technical Oversight: Assign tasks to Technicians, monitor machinery health, and coordinate with the other departments for maintenance.
  • Logistics & Inventory: Liaise with the Sales Department to ensure maximum stock levels are maintained on all delivery vehicles.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Education: A Technician’s Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the OSH Act of Trinidad and Tobago and a "safety-first" mindset.
  • Skills: Strong supervisory capabilities, computer literacy, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
