The Plant Process Engineer is a "hands on" role. This position will lead the Plant Engineering function for the Plant supporting a 24/7 operation.

Purpose: 

Responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery in a bottling line or continuous production line. 

The Plant Maintenance Engineer serves as the key technical resource for the manufacturing operations focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution for electronic/mechanical equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Duties:  

    • Planning and execution of the preventative maintenance programs to improve the reliability of the equipment.
    • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to shift technicians in all aspects of their work.
    • Planning and undertaking scheduled Preventative maintenance.
    • Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults.
    • Supervising engineering and technical staff.
    • Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
    • Managing budgets within the related field of work.
    • Maintaining statistical and financial records within the related field of work.
    • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related field.
    • 8 years of experience working with electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance in fillers, packers, depalletizers, boilers, glycol chillers
    • Ability to solve problems via advanced technical knowledge and troubleshooting
    • A record of success in implementing lean manufacturing concepts for continuous improvement.
    • Strong attention to detail and skillful in handling small parts.
    • Experience on the manufacturing floor.
