The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the performance of assigned flight and ensure a safe, cost effective and reliable operation in accordance with established company policies, FAA Regulations.
Must make sure that the controls of the aiecraft are working properly, check weather conditions and liaise with air traffic control. Pilots are responsible for pre-flight preparation, filing ther flight plan and calculating fuell required. Will conduct checks on controls, instruments and engine. Upon landing ane engines shut down, a flight report must be completed noting any problems or technical difficulties. Must stay current with federal and local flight regulations. Possesses current airline transport certificate with necessaru type ratings. Requires a minimum of 1,200 hours of flight experience.
