Picker (Distribution Department)
Purpose:
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, supporting smooth logistics operations and contributing to customer satisfaction through efficient handling of inventory and shipments.
Requirements:
- High School graduate
- 1 year working with similar functions (desirable)
- Knowledge of storage and inventory control processes
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse systems and handheld scanning devices (preferred
Responsibilities:
- Pick and prepare items according to daily order requests and picking lists.
- Ensure accurate scanning and labeling of products.
- Check picked items for quality, quantity, and correct product codes.
- Safely operated warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or RF scanners.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned picking areas.
- Communicate with supervisors or team leaders regarding inventory discrepancies or product shortages.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
