The position
As a physical therapist, you are responsible for providing physical therapy examinations, treatments and counseling patients who are part of the population and visitors to Saba.
You set up job specific treatment plans and discuss the course of the treatment in multidisciplinary consultation.
It is a very versatile position in which you do not only tend to patients at the physical therapy clinic but also at the Medical Center, Auxiliary Home, Senior Activity programs, Public Health Projects, and at patients homes.
You work full time for a minimum period of one year with the possibility of extension. Taking your experience into account, we offer a competitive benefit package. You will partake in the PCN Dutch Caribbean Pension plan, ZVK Zorgverzekeringskantoor BES health insurance plan, and you could receive a relocation remuneration and temporary housing if applicable.
The salary is conform the salary implementation regulation of FWG Salarisstructuur Health Care Caribisch Nederland BES and has been placed in FWG scale 55. Monthly gross min $2907 - max $4137.
Candidate Profile
An experienced BIG-registered physical therapist with a independent, flexible and enthusiastic work ethic. Due to a large diversity in ailments and activities, experience on a broad spectrum is required.
Excellent communication skills, a strong customer service attitude, and the ability to empathize and build relationships with patients and healthcare professionals. Excellent command of written and verbal English is Required. Dutch, and Spanish are an asset.
