The Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is accountable for designing, implementing, managing, monitoring and evaluation systems to assess the performance and effectiveness of the Ministry and related programmes and projects effectiveness and impact.
The Ministry of Water, Environment and Climate Change is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the vacant post of Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (GMG/SEG 3) salary range $5,198,035.00 to $6,990,779.00 per annum
Key Responsibility Areas:
Designing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation plans and systems to track progress and outcomes of Ministry policies, projects and programmes;
Designing and implementing data capture and evaluation instruments to support performance management and evidence-based decision making;
Monitoring performance against established indicators, standards, and targets at the project, division and organizational levels;
Developing and maintaining required M&E database(s) and data dictionary(ies);
Supporting capacity building of stakeholders in areas relating to data management, and the development and use of data capture tools;
Coordinating and implementing monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures;
Supporting digitization of data capture and reporting processes;
Supporting the supervision of research and survey teams etc;
Collecting and analyzing data and reporting progress;
Developing appropriate data visualizations and dashboards for representation of key performance areas;
Preparing data analysis, reports and other matrices on performance as may be required.
