Performance Enablement Partner 

The Performance Enablement Partner is a strategic architect of workforce effectiveness, directly fueling sales force effectiveness and operational excellence by diagnosing performance gaps and implementing targeted enablement solutions. You will be the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring our frontline teams are fully equipped to achieve their targets, build stellar retailer relationships, and drive brand growth.

 

Major Responsibilities 

Performance Analysis & Diagnosis 

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and People and Culture to analyse key performance metrics (e.g., cases sold, distribution targets, delivery efficiency, planogram compliance etc.) to identify systemic skills or knowledge gaps. 
  • Conduct field ride-alongs and interviews with sales representatives and customer and channel managers to understand on-the-ground challenges and best practices.  
  • Translate business goals (e.g., launching a new product, improving shelf presence) into clear enablement needs.  

Program Design & Delivery 

  • Design & Develop: Create practical, engaging, enablement content and programmesThis includes:  
  • Sales playbooks for key brands, new product launches, change management initiatives etc.  
  • Micro-learning modules (e.g., "5-minute skill refreshers") on negotiation, cold calling, inventory management, and using our CRM/Sales App.  
  • Competitive battle cards and objection-handling guides.  
  • Onboarding pathways for new hires (frontline).  
  • Deliver & Facilitate: Lead dynamic training sessions, both in-person (market visits, team meetings) and virtually.  
  • Coordinate: Manage the rollout of national sales initiatives at the local level, ensuring materials and training are deployed effectively. 

Tool & Resource Management 

  • Act as the super-user and champion for key field technology (e.g., CRM, route planning software, data dashboards).  
  • Gather feedback on tool usability and work with IT/Sales Ops to drive improvements.  
  • Maintain a central, easily accessible digital library of all enablement resources. 

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Organisational Psychology, Business, Human Resources, Communications, Education or related field.  Proven ability to translate data and business objectives into actionable training.
  • High proficiency with PowerPoint, MS Office, and learning platforms (LMS). 
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage a field-based, non-desk audience.  
  • 3+ years of experience in sales enablement, training, field learning & development, or key account management roles.
  • Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), beverage, food, or direct sales/distribution is a significant advantage.
