Royalton CHIC Antigua is seeking a People & Culture Manager to manage the operational processes of the People and Culture department including Recruitment, Training, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, Payroll and Occupational Health.

As the People & Culture Manager you will direct, coordinate and control the implementation of strategies, initiatives and processes of People and Culture, while ensuring adherence to the guidelines, regulations and policies established by the company.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coordinate and control all processes for Recruitment and Selection, Training & Development, Labour Relations and Payroll
  • Manage, coordinate and control the department's budget including Payroll, taxes, transportation, canteen, uniforms, training and benefits
  • Manage and act as mediator in conflict situations between employees and management, seeking solutions that benefit all parties involved
  • Contribute to the construction and maintenance of the organizational culture, aligning the values and mission of the company with the actions and behaviors of employees
  • Promote compliance with the company´s Philosophy, Purpose, Values, Policies and Objectives among the different members of the department
  • Contribute to safeguard employee´s physical integrity by accomplishing Safety and Health rules and standards.
Experience:
  • Experience in a similar position for a minimum of 3 years 
  • Hotel sector experience desirable
  • Experience working with HR KPI's.
  • In-depth knowledge of People & Culture related laws, regulations and policies, as well as experience with leading edge and other advanced People & Culture related programs and initiatives.
