• To administer the various pension funds within the BPM portfolio on behalf of the Trustees of each fund. • To design, analyze and monitor equity trading activities in local, regional and international markets to inform and guide the Investment department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures that all FSC reporting deadlines are met.
  • Ensures that all contribution listings for each scheme are received and that actual payments are made within the timeframe stipulated by law.
  • Prepares Annual Reports for each scheme
  • Conducts data analysis and generates reports on pension plan performance, membership statistics and financial projections
  • Participates in pension scheme audits, providing necessary documentation and information to auditors
  • Keeps up to date with changes in pension legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary adjustments to pension plans as required.
  • Calculates and revises as necessary, amounts payable for refund of members’ contribution on termination.
  • Collaborates with external service providers, such as actuaries and investment managers, to ensure accurate reporting and administration of pension funds
  • Supports the implementation of new pension schemes or changes to existing schemes, including coordinating communication and training sessions for members.
  • Collaborates with co-workers to resolve both external and internal customer queries as best as possible.
  • Recommends methods and systems for improving processes in the pension department.
  • Generates and checks members’ statements to be dispatched within the timeframe stipulated by law.
  • Prepares company newsletters and other mass personal internal and external communication and greetings
  • Performs any other job- related duties assigned.
