Sagicor Employee Benefits Administrators Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Pension Services team in the capacity of:

 

 

 

Pension Administrator Assistant

 

 

Provide support services for Pension Administrators.

 

Location: Kingston

 

As a Pension Administrator Assistant, you will:

 

  • Enroll members on Pension Plans for whom enrolment forms are received or electronically where bulk data is received.
  • Update member’s demographic information on TOPAS as is necessary.
  • Dispatch beneficiary appointment confirmations forms to the clients for those changes done via MYSAGICOR to the client.
  • Ensure that all contributions received are accounted for.
  • Ensure all payments made are reconciled.
  • Prepare retirement letters for members after payments are made.
  • Prepare status letters assigned by Pension Administrators.
  • Benefit verification and follow up to ensure all benefits received can be processed.
  • Assist with the preparation of benefit calculations and benefit payments.
  • Process death benefit for Pensioners.
  • Prepare retirement projections as requested by a Pension Administrator.
  • Assist with the preparation of IAS Actuarial Valuation data where necessary for the approval of the Pension Administrator.
  • Assist with any research that might be required by the Pension Administrator.
  • Assist with walk-in clients when Pension Administrators are not available.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

 

What do you need?

 

  • Minimum of six (6) CXC CSEC subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
  • Loma level I or certificate in other industry specified courses.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time.
