The Payroll Service Manager ensures the smooth functioning of the Payroll services and Insurance Accounts department and Manage the cashiering services functions.

Core Functions:

Manage and ensure the smooth functioning of the Payroll services and Insurance Accounts department. Manage the cashiering services functions.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Management Studies, Accounting, or related discipline, from a
• recognized tertiary institution
• FLMI designation
• At least five (5) years working experience at a managerial level

Specialized Skills, Techniques/Learned Disciplines:

• Knowledge of computer based application systems supporting the individual Line business functions
• In depth knowledge of Life Insurance accounting and financial reporting requirements
• Thorough knowledge of Life Insurance Accounting
• Strong knowledge in the use of PC productivity applications including word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to effectively manage people and performance
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Working knowledge of reporting/query tools
