Payroll Staff needed for a dynamic department.

The Payroll Associate (Outsourcing) is primarily responsible for assisting the Payroll Department as a whole by providing support for payroll functions in accordance with established regulations, procedures and deadlines, as well as with client engagements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Has a complete understanding of the payment of wages and salaries by means of the company’s software
  • Organize weekly, bi-monthly or monthly deductions and authorization from clients.
  • Prepare and maintain standards and reports, queries and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Calculate monthly statutory deductions (viz., Income Tax, Health Surcharge and National Insurance Surcharge) and manage statutory payments by ensuring that such payments are recorded and delivered on a timely basis.
  • Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes and deductions.
  • Ensure client payrolls are accurate, complete and properly approved by respective Managers.
  • Prepare Annual Tax Declaration Form (TD4) for each individual and summary for submission to the Board of Inland Revenue (BIR).
  • Ensure that statutory receipts are distributed to the relevant payroll assistant and filed.
  • Any other work assigned by the Manager - HR & Payroll Outsourcing.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Secondary school education including the attainment of at least five (5) ‘O’ including English Language and Mathematics and/or two (2) ‘A’ levels.
  • 2-3 Years’ experience in a professional payroll or accounting environment.
  • Pursuing Tertiary level education in business or relevant qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of HRP would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of regional payrolls.
