 Parts Sales Representative - Barbados

Our Parts Sales team is currently looking for a talented Parts Sales Representative for Barbados who will be the principal point of contact between the company and its after-sales parts customers. The primary objective of this role includes providing exceptional customer experience by offering a friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service while assisting our customers to ensure that they get the correct parts the first time.

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Presents, promotes and sells the company’s parts products.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to all existing and prospective customers through the company’s various contact channels.
  • Identifies the correct parts needed to address the customers’ needs on the first visit.
  • Uses the manufacturers’ Electronic Part Catalogs (EPC’s) to obtain information on parts required by model.
  • Ensures adherence to manufacture specifications.
  • Coordinates any activities to ensure the correct part is identified and obtained.
  • Utilizes all available information to ensure proper resolution of problems.
  • Monitors stock trends and notifies franchise team of any demand changes or potential risks.
  • Maintains accurate records and ensures systems are updated with any Sales and Lost sales.
  • Delivers upon agreed sales targets.
  • Suggests new sales measures to ensure customer satisfaction and works closely with the Sales Team to develop new business opportunities while complying with company policies.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains positive business and customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
  • Provides accurate and honest advice to customers on the care of their vehicles when selling parts.
  • Collects the necessary information pertaining to the request before processing the order.
  • Handles customer complaints tactfully, promptly with genuine concern, and in keeping with company values and guidelines.
  • Takes the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles.
  • Provides clear and legible records for both customer and dealership use.
  • Monitors the progress of part request and contacts customers regarding changes to the time and cost estimates.
  • Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Continuously drives and supports all team members in overcoming obstacles in order to exceed customer expectations and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintains a clean and tidy work area at all times.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform other reasonable and related duties as required.

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

  • At least five (5) CXC level passes including Mathematics and English at grade 2 or higher
  • A minimum of three (3) years of sales experience
  • Previous experience utilizing Electronic Parts Catalogues would be an asset
  • Demonstrated history of solid performance and sales success
  • Ability to meet and surpass sales targets
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and salesmanship
