AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE TEACHING STAFF

PART TIME AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE TEACHER – TRINITY COLLEGE EAST 

ROLE AND CORE FUNCTIONS

The incumbent is required to teach Agricultural Science to Forms 1-5 students in accordance with the approved curriculum. Duties include monitoring the progress of students, effective classroom/field supervision and guidance to ensure the all-round development of students.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from an accredited University Or 
• Diploma /Associate in Applied Science Degree in Tropical Agriculture or equivalent
• A Diploma in Education will be an asset.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Familiarity with the Agricultural Science Syllabus.
• A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the respective form level is essential.
• Sound knowledge of the theory and application of the subject area. 
• Sound knowledge of evaluation and measurement techniques. 
• Sound knowledge of modern methods, principles and techniques of teaching.

 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Registered to teach by the Ministry of Education
• Assessed as a Teacher TVT II by The Ministry of Education
