PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS EXPEDITOR

The purchasing and logistics expeditor will be responsible for coordinating all shipping documents between Sandals Resorts International and approved vendors. The Expeditor is responsible for enforcing purchasing guidelines while coordinating all shipping documents.

 Specific requirements/duties of the position include:

• Managing product lead-time requests
• Working with the Purchasing and Planning Department to identify appropriate transport methods for materials
• Reviewing order backlog reports and updating purchasing systems
• Preparing purchase orders
• Maintaining supplier price list information
• Maintaining system lead-time information
• Obtaining compliance data from suppliers
• Ensuring proper documentation of purchasing records.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• A Degree in Business Administration, management studies, or any other related field
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in purchasing/accounting
