PROJECT MANAGER FOR CONSTRUCTION

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, manage teams, ensure compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site and off-site.
• Lease with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Obtain permits and ensure compliance with all safety and building codes.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
• Control project expenditure to stay within budget.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
• Resolve any issues or delays promptly to keep projects on track.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise project teams and subcontractors.
• Conduct project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to OSHA and other safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or Similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
• Strong Communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant management certification.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
