producing and distributing compelling PR, video, and digital content that attracts high-value clients, top talent, and inbound opportunities — 24/7.

Key Responsibilities

 

1. PR & Brand Positioning

? Own and deeply understand Newport Water’s vision, strategy, values, and impact.

? Promote brand, stories, and mission internally first.

? Act as a brand storyteller and ambassador, representing Newport and Hydrate Caribbean professionally across media, events, and public platforms.

? Develop and execute PR initiatives aligned to well-being, innovation, and environmental sustainability.

? Write and manage press releases, brand announcements, thought-leadership articles, and case studies.

? Build and maintain relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders locally and regionally.

 

2. Video, Photography & Content Creation (Core Focus)

 

Directly handle video creation and editing (short-form and long-form).

Capture high-quality photography and video in the field, at installations, schools, client sites, and events.

Personally appear on camera where required — explaining concepts, telling stories, and representing the brand.

Engage and coach Newport team members to participate in video and content, helping share their knowledge and expertise.

Ensure all content is authentic, on-brand, and commercially relevant.

Build and maintain an organised, reusable content library.

3. Digital Presence & Distribution

 

Own Newport’s digital footprint across website, social media, and digital campaigns.

Plan and manage an editorial calendar aligned with sales, recruitment, CSR, and regional growth.

Publish consistent, high-quality content that builds trust and authority.

Collaborate closely with Sales to surface buyer-focused stories and FAQs.

4. Campaigns, Performance & ROI

 

Support and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness, inbound leads, and reputation.

Track performance across reach, engagement, leads, and ROI.

Deliver clear monthly reporting and insights.

Support paid digital activity where appropriate.

5. Collaboration & Representation

 

Work closely with an internal visual designer and external agency partners (e.g. editing, social amplification) to scale output while maintaining quality.

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams regionally.

Where required, represent Newport publicly — on panels, at events, in interviews, and on stage. 

Contribute meaningfully to revenue and leadership discussions.

Skills, Experience & Attributes

Core Skills

  • Strong PR, writing, and storytelling capability
  • Proven ability to shoot, edit, and publish video content
  • Confident photographer and videographer
  • Comfortable on camera and on stage – 
  • Digitally fluent (social platforms, analytics, content tools)
  • Commercial mindset — understands the link between brand, trust, and revenue

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or similar
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in PR, content, or digital marketing
  • Portfolio demonstrating video, content, and storytelling ability preferred
