Optical Glazing Technician

Are you an experienced Glazing Lab Technician looking for a new opportunity? With your previous knowledge of an optical lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customer’s spectacle orders to the highest standard and work in a role where you can make a difference to patients that need it the most by helping them See Better and Live better.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Prior production and surfacing experience would be advantageous however not essential.

• Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received.

• Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times.

• Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations.

• Good working knowledge of computer software’s and operation.

• Collaborate with opticians and customer service teams to resolve any product issues.

• Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments.

• Maintain and calibrate optical lab machinery.

• Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards in the lab.
