Ophthalmologist Vacancy

VE Medical, St. Lucia seeks an English-speaking ophthalmologist to treat glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts and retinal conditions using modern surgical facilities. Registration, licence and work permit covered.

VE Medical offers treatments for glaucoma (including Preserflo), diabetic retinopathy (Iridex laser and Vabysmo injections), corneal cross-linking, pterygiums, and minor surgery.

Phaco cataract and all retinal surgeries. Fully equipped vitreoretinal surgery suite.

Opportunity possible for an ophthalmologist to further develop surgical skills.

Commencing in 2026, an oculoplastics team will provide treatments and surgeries.

VE Medical is looking for an enthusiastic, personable, English-speaking ophthalmologist, ready to deal with patients who have a large range of visual problems.

The VE Medical offices are fully staffed with an excellent nursing team.

A full optometry team covers all general eyecare.

A pharmacy and a blood diagnostic clinic are also within the facility.

St. Lucia is a beautiful island in the Caribbean, and VE Medical is a friendly team focused on providing the best in eye care and surgery in St. Lucia and for the regional Caribbean.

Registration with the St. Lucia Medical Council will be required, including a satisfactory level of English (if English is not the native language).

MPS, a work permit, and a medical licence will be organised and paid for by VE Medical.
