Overview and Summary

Profiles Caribbean Inc. is seeking to recruit an Operations Supervisor for our client, a dynamic and growing security company operating in Barbados. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing assigned systems, processes and people.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the company and prepare weekly rosters.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as required.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Operations Manager.
• Assist with payroll inputs.
• Lead, mentor and motivate all TEAM members to achieve high performances.
• Ensure operations staff comply with company policies, and procedures to optimize performances.
• Provide training for new and existing staff members.
• Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relating to the “Employee Rights Act”.
• Identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the market.

Requirements re: Experience, Competencies and Skills

• A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role.
• Strong organisational, leadership, communication and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Exceptional communication & people skills.
• Ability to problem solve complex security and logistical problems.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in business management tools namely Microsoft Office.
• A certificate in supervisory management or a related field would be an asset.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong decision-making skills
