The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day operations across all business units including Guarding, Cash-in-Transit (CIT), and Electronic Security (Alarms).

Summary:
The role focuses on ensuring service delivery excellence, compliance with standards, effective supervision and ensuring budgets/objective are met for the departments This position plays a hands-on role in monitoring and aligning performance, enforcing policies, resolving issues, and tracking performance metrics, while collaborating closely with unit managers to maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Guarding Operations
- Ensure all guards are punctual, present, and correctly rostered.
- Conduct daily attendance checks and verify shift deployments and quality of service.
- Enforce adherence to site standing orders, SOPs, dress code, and conduct standards.
- Investigate and resolve absenteeism, no-shows, or late arrivals immediately.
- Support field teams and supervisors with coverage issues and operational challenges.
- Provision of reports such as attendance and so forth to perform analysis and make recommendations on improvements.
CIT (Cash-in-Transit) Oversight
- Ensure CIT vehicles depart on time according to the daily dispatch schedule.
- Coordinate and monitor route planning, team readiness, and delivery timelines.
- Track and report fuel usage, vehicle condition, and route deviations.
- Follow up on incidents, delays, or breakdowns and coordinate recovery or support.
Alarms and Electronic Services
- Confirm technician assignments, dispatch schedules, and site attendance.
- Support coordination of installation, servicing, and alarm response timelines.
- Verify equipment readiness and adherence to customer service standards.
Expense & Asset Tracking
- Monitor fuel usage for CIT and patrol vehicles and flag any anomalies.
- Track daily operational expenses (e.g., batteries, uniforms, supplies) for accountability.
- Ensure equipment (e.g., radios, cash boxes, firearms, vehicles) is functional, secured, and used responsibly.
- Report damages, losses, or operational inefficiencies.
Standards & Compliance
- Conduct field audits to ensure SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality protocols are followed.
- Monitor field team compliance with operational checklists and reporting standards.
- Enforce company regulations on appearance, conduct, and site protocols.
Reporting & Issue Resolution
- Maintain detailed daily reports on guard performance, CIT activity, vehicle status, and incidents.
- Report and follow up on disciplinary, absenteeism, or performance-related issues.
- Liaise with clients and internal managers to address concerns and provide operational updates.
Any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in security, logistics, or operations coordination roles.
- Minimum of CXC passes in English and Mathematics or equivalent certification.
- Solid knowledge of Guarding and CIT operations.
- Familiarity with shift scheduling, route planning, and asset tracking.
- Competence in basic reporting, Excel, or dispatch systems is an asset.
- Strong field presence, leadership, and ability to handle real-time operational challenges.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel between sites.
- Must be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
