The Operations Manager is a Strategic Position, responsible for efficient, effective and profitable operations of all store outlets within the Island

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Oversee the operations of all stores and prep kitchen, ensuring that stock, company 
policies and procedures, cleanliness, customer service, product quality and product
consistency standards are achieved at all times
2. Recruitment and Selection of the highest quality staff for all operations on the Island
3. Assist the Country Manager with negotiations for vendors and service providers and
manage all client relationships
4. Implementing policies and ensuring compliance to mechanisms to keep food cost,
beverage cost, Labour cost and other operational costs (e.g., telephone, water, utilities
expenses) within budgeted expectations.
5. Create and manage all rosters, ensuring that operational needs including exceptional
customer service expectations, are always met
6. Ensure that all sales and labor and food cost targets are met
7. Meet and exceed all company established sales goals and performance goals, special
attention being paid the quality of Customer Service and the customer experience
8. Maintain Company standards with respect to employee attire, grooming and personal
hygiene by actively overseeing all operations for all brands within the Island
9. Visit stores daily, conducting at least three (3) random store checks to ensure that all
stock handling, cash handling and company policies and procedures are being
followed, providing compliance/ audit reports by the 1st day of the following month,
to the Country Manager and executive committee
10. Prepare food and labor cost presentations for the Executives to be presented and
reports submitted by the 1
st working day of each Quarter for the previous quarter, with
100% accuracy
11. Ensure that all customer complaints received are rectified within 24 hours of each
complaint arising
12. Ensure that all stock orders are placed within designated timelines, and efficient
forecasting is done to ensure that customer needs are met
13. Oversight of all company assets at each store, ensuring that cash and stocks (including
and not limited to tables, coffee machines, cutlery, inventory) are accounted for at each
opening and closing hour, with 100% accuracy
14. Ensure that all wastage at stores is recorded by Store supervisors, and such wastage
are costed in accordance with Company benchmarks. Wastage must be approved by
the Operations Manager, for discarding
15. Ensure that all stock overages and shortages are recorded by using the Rit 1, PB 17 or
other reports required for managing stock overages and shortages. Such reports are to
be submitted to the Audit Department (Trinidad Head Office) by the 1st working day
of the following month, for the previous month, with 100% accuracy.
16. Rostering, training and mentoring/ coaching all staff
17. Verify all log books for dry, cold storage and heating equipment at all locations, to
ensure that temperatures are consistent with Company and public health requirements
18. Ensure that all employee performance appraisals are completed within designated
timelines, with 100% accuracy
19. Any other duty or project that is required by Management

Education and Experience Requirements:

➢ Bachelors Degree in Business Management/ Operations Management
➢ At least 5 years in a senior management position, based in operations
➢ Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
