Operations Manager (Kingston)

A fast-growing market leader in print production, signage, and outdoor advertising solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its production and installation operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end operational excellence across production, installation, and customer delivery:

  • Supervise daily sign production and installation scheduling to ensure efficient workflow from order intake to final delivery
  • Allocate resources, manage fabrication schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
  • Recruit, train, coach, and lead production and installation teams, setting performance targets and building a high-performance culture
  • Implement best-practice operational systems to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase efficiency
  • Manage complex signage and outdoor advertising projects, including timelines, permits, logistics, and installations
  • Ensure strict quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to local regulatory requirements
  • Oversee operational budgets, control costs, and analyze financial data to support profitability
  • Act as the primary liaison between operations and clients, resolving issues and ensuring high customer satisfaction

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Production Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations, manufacturing, print, signage, or a similar technical environment
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a management or leadership role
  • Strong operational leadership with proven experience managing and developing multi-disciplinary production and installation teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume production environments and field-based installation operations
  • Solid project management capability, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple concurrent jobs on time and within budget
  • Sound financial acumen, including cost control, budgeting, and profitability management
  • Strong communication and client-management skills, with the ability to build credibility and resolve issues professionally
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and lead change in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
