The Operations Manager will oversee the receipt, warehousing and distribution of building materials manufactured and traded by the company.

MANAGER OF OPERATIONS

General Scope:

The Manager of Operations will oversee the receipt, warehousing, and distribution of building materials manufactured and traded by the company. This role requires strategic leadership and expertise and plays a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

 Duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensures that the company is protected from business risks within specific areas of responsibility and that all applicable compliance standards are met.
• Collaborates with various departments to ensure the seamless supply of products, effectively responding to market demands and customer needs.
• Leads initiatives related to efficiency optimization and effective waste management for the department.
• Achieves established key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
• Develops and recommends Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for implementation within the department.
• Responsible for the safety and security of the department’s resources, including personnel and equipment.

 Required qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Logistics & Supply Chain Management; or an equivalent discipline.
• Proven experience in Warehouse Management;
• At least three years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong management expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Very good verbal and written communication.
