Manage security locations, arrange and ensure efficient coverage at all times.

Operations Manager

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the ideal candidate will manage security officers and locations according to established instructions and policies.  Is required to comply with regulations, roster officers, provide guidance and lead teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cover and manage security locations, ensuring adequate coverage is maintained at all times
• Assist officers in using the assigned software and tools provided to log critical information     
• Maintain a cadre of suitable officers who are regularly available to cover locations
• Perform risk assessment on a monthly basis
• Maintain constant communication with Regional Manager, other managers, support staff and clients
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Experience in establishing security guard patrol routes and ensuring guards comply with standing orders
• Effectively supervise and monitor assigned locations ensuring clients’ satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Training and experience in JCF or JDF designation
• B.Sc. Degree or HEART Level 4 in Industrial Security Operations
• Experience in administration and implementation of operational strategies
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Proven experience as security manager or similar position
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
