We are seeking a Guyanese national who is a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee daily business operations ensuring efficiency across departments.

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee daily business operations ensuring efficiency across departments. The successful candidate will play an integral role in driving productivity, managing resources, and supporting the achievement of organizational goals. Only Guyanese nationals are eligible to apply.

 

Job Description: 

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operational activities across departments. 
  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery. 
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational performance to ensure attainment of organizational targets. 
  • Coordinate with department heads to streamline processes, workflows and resolve operational challenges. 
  • Manage resource allocation, including staff, equipment, and materials. 
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance, accountability and promote continuous improvement. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs. 
  • Manage client relationships, representing the company with clients, partners, and other stakeholders when required. 

 

Education and Qualification Requirements: 

  • Must be a Guyanese national. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Master’s Degree or would be an asset. 
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience in operations management, logistics or supply chain management.
  • A minimum of two (2) years in a senior management role in FMCG or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes, resource management, and performance monitoring. 
  • Proven leadership and people management skills. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP or operations software is an advantage. 
  • High level of integrity, adaptability, and results orientation.
