Marathon Insurance Brokers Limited (MIB) – One of the region’s largest general insurance in the Caribbean, offering Property, Casualty, and Life insurance solutions.
FCG is a fast-growing financial services group positioning itself for a public offering in Q3 2026.

MIB is presently building out to nine (9) branches across Jamaica and in a number of regional countries As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning – Develop and implement operational strategies to support company goals
  • Process Management – Optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement
  • Resource Management – Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently
  • Quality Control – Implement quality assurance systems to ensure service excellence
  • Team Leadership – Hire, train, and manage Team leaders across multiple locations
  • Supply Chain Oversight – Manage inventory, logistics, and vendor coordination
  • Compliance – Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and safety standards
  • Performance Monitoring – Track KPIs and report on operational metrics
  • Customer Experience – Champion superior service delivery and resolve customer concerns
  • Cross-Functional Communication – Collaborate with stakeholders and other departments
  • Plan, develop, maintain and manage branch establishments.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior operations or leadership role
  • Proven track record in operations management
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and regionally

 

 Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Up to US $45,000 per annum (commensurate with experience).
  • Performance Rewards: Profit share, and stock-option scheme aligned with IPO aspirations.
  • Motor Vehicle Allowance.
