Operational Readiness Team Lead

Ensures all Wireline assets meet readiness and quality standards.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Operational Readiness Team Lead manages Wireline shop operations, including manpower, maintenance flow, equipment tracking, and job preparation. 

EDUCATION:

• BSc. Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
• Technical Certificate (EEET, MET, Process Plant, etc.)
• Project Management diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a facility/asset manager, supervisor or team lead inclusive of working in a similar environment, given qualifications and capability.
• Any other combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILIITIES:

• Lead Shop Operations: Directs shop supervisors and coordinators in managing daily shop activities, equipment repairs, maintenance, and job readiness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with Field, Shop, and Management teams to improve service quality, employee performance, asset readiness, and safety.
• Job Equipment Planning: Prepares and verifies equipment/asset listings with design and planning engineers, participates in planning meetings, and ensures all job equipment matches the approved plan.
• Asset & Inventory Oversight: Maintains operational control of fixed assets and supervises stores and inventory, ensuring minimum stock levels and proper spare management.
• Documentation & Compliance: Coordinates with support teams to complete job load-out documents, ensuring lifting certifications, MPI, and all client requirements are met.
• Personnel Coordination: Works with the Shop Coordinator to distribute work tasks among Wireline Operators.
• Procurement & Issue Resolution: Reviews purchase requisitions and collaborates with Unit Managers/Team Leads/Service Engineers to resolve customer complaints related to products or services.
• Quality, Certification & Incident Support: Ensures work orders are processed correctly, verifies equipment certifications and calibrations, coordinates asset-related tasks, supports equipment failure investigations, and ensures proper shipment preparation and housekeeping.
