The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the hotel. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage services, and guest relations. The Operations Manager will implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service quality.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating closely with the Resort Manager and General Manager to proactively address critical operational priorities, including guest experience and team engagement.
Supporting the development and execution of strategic goals related to key platforms such as HySat, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Booking.com, and TUI, aligned with both short- and long-term objectives.
Providing effective leadership to department heads and operational teams to drive performance and consistently exceed guest satisfaction targets.
Leading the response and follow-up to internal and external audits, ensuring continuous improvement across all departments.
Coordinating the delivery of services across all operational areas, maintaining brand and company standards while surpassing guest expectations.
Monitoring compensation costs and non-package revenue, analyzing performance, and implementing corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met.
Coaching and developing department heads to promote career growth and ensure strong succession planning across the property.
Proactively seeking, analyzing, and responding to guest feedback to enhance service quality and satisfaction levels.
Conducting regular briefings and communication meetings with the Heads of Department to align objectives, share updates, and reinforce operational standards.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or additional certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in Reservations, Operations or Finance.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with a data management system.
Language:
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is highly beneficial.
