ORTHOPEDIC PHYSICIAN / MINOR SURGERY

VE Medical seeks an Orthopedic Physician to assess, diagnose, treat patients, and perform minor surgery within a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must hold a medical degree with postgraduate orthopedics.

ORTHOPEDIC PHYSICIAN / MINOR SURGERY 

• perform,outpatient and inpatient orthopedic surgery examinations
• determines diagnoses
• initiates treatments based on orthopedic surgery education and standards of care.
• Apply a wide range of professional assessment methods and techniques to care for patients with orthopedic problems.
• Develop coherent treatment strategies.
• Incorporate new clinical procedures.
• Provide professional advice and consultation in critical care areas related to treatment of orthopedic surgical conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment, delivering treatment options and minor surgery. procedures . 

A team of experienced nurses for clinical and surgery procedure support are part of the VE Medical Team 

You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical and holistic team while maintaining the ability to work independently in clinical consultations 

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine , post graduate orthopedics 
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to high standards of patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, compassionate, and proactive approach to patient care
• Excellent spoken English 

‘The successful candidate will be required to provide all documentation for approval of a St Lucia Medical License . This additionally requires English as native language , or five years in an English speaking country or TOEFL grades or equivalent
