OPERATIONS MANAGER, ROOMS DIVISION

The successful candidate will be in charge of planning and executing strategies for the day to day operations of the Rooms Division. This includes overseeing the Front Office, Guest Services and Housekeeping Departments to maintain the established service standard across the group of resorts.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating activities to ensure the effective management of rooms and public spaces
• Liaising with the Learning and Development team to identify and coordinate training requirements for the Rooms Division
• Developing, implementing and reviewing operational policies and procedures
• Developing and implementing new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to enhance the guest experience
• Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and business standards
• Assisting with managing relationships with key operations vendors

Qualifications and Experience:

•   Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism, Resort Management or any other related field
• At least eight years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality and resort management or any other related field 
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Experience with automated Rooms Division related systems
• CARICOM Skills Certificate would be an asset
