Job Summary

 The purpose of the Network Administrator role is to ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the organization’s network infrastructure. This includes managing, maintaining, and optimizing all networking hardware, software, and communication systems that support internal and external connectivity.

Network Administrators play a critical role in designing, configuring, and monitoring local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), internet connections, intranets, firewalls, VPNs, and other network systems.

This role includes identifying and resolving network-related issues, enforcing security protocols, monitoring traffic and access points, performing routine network upgrades, and maintaining detailed documentation. The Network Administrator contribute to disaster recovery planning, compliance with cybersecurity standards, and scalability strategies for future infrastructure needs.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect systems and data.

  • Server and Network Management:

Manage and maintain servers, including installation, configuration, and optimization of hardware and software.

  • User Support and Training:

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system-related issues.

  • System Maintenance and Monitoring:

Perform daily system monitoring to ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of     all servers and systems.

  • User Satisfaction:

Achieve a user satisfaction rating of at least 90% or higher based on user feedback and surveys.

 Minimum qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited and recognised institution

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 4 years of comparable experience.
  • In-depth understanding of system administration, including server and network management, virtualization, and security.

Location:                    -           Grand Turk

Annual Salary:          -           USD54,670.00 – USD63,400.00

Overseas recruits are eligible for a Housing Allowance of USD7,800.00 per annum, Grand Turk and USD10,200.00 per annum, Providenciales. A settling-in loan and 10% gratuity upon successful completion of the contract of engagement.
