The Night Auditor is responsible for closing the hotel's reception department's daily operations and for reporting any incidents that arise during his shift to management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with quality processes and standards.
  • Check the number of rooms pending arrival in the shift.
  • Programming master keys for on-duty personnel.
  • Assign rooms for unexpected arrivals and control the corresponding payment.
  • Report any incidents that occur during the night to the appropriate department so they can be followed up during the day.
  • Print the night lists and deliver them to the departments involved.
  • Performs daily production closures.
  • Receives and hands over the night shift and submits incident reports.
  • Performs closings of the hotel's sales points and productions.
  • Customer support at all times, as well as support for collaborators.
  • Transport of suitcases in case there is no trunk.
  • Verification of night closings to check if agency proformas have been uploaded, as well as a "checklist" for the closing.
  • Check if phone calls are charging normally.
  • Follow-up of breakdowns reported by customers.
  • Resolve any conflicts or incidents that occur during your shift.
  • Report all breakdowns found in public areas during the night so they can be fixed during the day if they cannot be fixed during your shift.
  • Attends training sessions scheduled for his/her department and promotes the attendance of reception staff.
  • Performs other related and complementary tasks assigned by his/her boss.
  • Organize the check-in and check-out of guests
  • Perform the shift handover by reporting incidents and pending tasks to follow up on
  • At the end of the shift, leave the entire reception area clean and tidy
  • Supervise the team members under their responsibility and assist them in their tasks when necessary
Minimum experience:
3 years
