Job Summary
The NACE/CWI Inspector is responsible for performing inspections of corrosion protection, coatings, and welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety standards. The role involves conducting assessments, documenting findings, and supporting quality control and HSE compliance on-site.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct inspections of welded joints, materials, pipelines, tanks, and other structures in accordance with CWI and NACE standards
• Perform visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and coating assessments
• Verify compliance with project specifications, welding procedures, and coating standards
• Identify non-conformances and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, logs, and documentation for QA/QC records
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and construction teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements
• Participate in HSE meetings and provide guidance on welding and corrosion safety practices
• Support junior inspectors and technicians with training and guidance where applicable

Qualifications and Experience
• NACE Certification (e.g., NACE Coating Inspector Program Level 1 or 2)
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – Level 1 or Level 2 certification from an accredited body (e.g., AWS)
• Minimum of [3–5] years’ experience in inspection, quality assurance, or related roles
• Knowledge of corrosion prevention, coating systems, and welding standards (AWS, ASME, API)
• Experience in industrial, construction, or oil & gas projects preferred

Working Conditions
