Multimedia Producer is responsible for working across all genres of multimedia production including educational documentaries, Organisational affairs, entertainment, and educational delivery programmes as well as the broadcasting/netcasting of Organisational content. The Multimedia Producer is also responsible for organisational multimedia production scheduling and budgeting.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
ü NVQ-J Level 5 Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communication or Information Technology
ü Certificate in Instructional Technology
ü At least two (2) years relevant experience leading/directing in a multimedia/broadcast production industry
KEY COMPETENCIES:
ü Ability to direct the Tricasting/Broadcasting of video/audio content
ü Knowledge of Special Educational Needs instructional models
ü Ability to edit both video and audio contents.
ü Ability to use multimedia mixing equipment.
KEY DUTIES:
ü Guides the broadcasting/netcasting of Organisation video/media content
ü Guides the development of videos (instructional and corporate)
ü Implements processes, procedures, standards, and tools for multimedia development, graphic design, print layout, eLearning deployment and testing, and editing of training content.
ü Identifies tools, technologies, and procedures for internal development of self-paced eLearning and online instructor-led training
ü Builds relationships with learning partners to set expectations, gain support, become a trusted advisor, and deliver business-focused results
ü Guides the development of multimedia programmes
ü Makes recommendations on media production approaches to support learning; identifies efficient learning products that drive performance improvement and meets client’s needs
ü Collaborates with instructional-design team on eLearning storyboard development to ensure technical feasibility, engaging interactivity, consistent navigation and usability, and seamless transitions among Instructional Design projects
ü Coordinates the production of eLearning (including media and interactions) content from storyboards/scripts using Flash, XML, Articulate, Captivate, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Sound booth, and other similar tools
ü Coordinates the production of business video/audio programmes for Organisational documentary, educational/entertainment, and current affairs
ü Guides the deployment of content on training systems, tests content, and troubleshoots problems
ü Proactively monitors all projects to identify cross-project synergies, anticipate and avert obstacles, keep projects on track, and keep all Stakeholders informed
ü Supervises the aesthetical layout and multimedia content flow for Organisational websites
ü Develops multimedia contents compliant with requirements for Special Educational Needs
ü Coordinates with the Marketing Communications Department and the Human Resources Department to provide Voice and Speech training to selected HEART staff
ü Guides the engineering and broadcast capabilities of the multimedia systems
ü Keeps up to date with best practices, innovations and emerging trends in multimedia technology
