Movement and Dance Coordinator

The Movement and Dance Coordinator leads the development, coaching, and performance of dance and movement activities at TPAC.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Movement and Dance Coordinator leads the development, coaching, and performance of dance and movement activities at TPAC. The role includes training performers in balance, flexibility, rhythm, and expressive range, while integrating diverse local, regional and international styles and cultural forms.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dance, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of four (4) years of industry-related experience.
• Extensive experience in choreography, improvisation, composition, and movement instruction.
• Strong knowledge of local dance traditions, theatre processes, and cultural forms.
• Knowledge of regional and international dance styles and techniques, theatre processes, and cultural forms would be an asset.
