Join Our Team as a Monitoring & Compliance Manager – Risk Management Advisory (JESS, Kingston)


Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for risk management and team leadership? KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), in partnership with KPMG U.S., is seeking a Monitoring & Compliance Manager to lead a high-impact team supporting the Risk Management Advisory function.


About the Role:

As a Monitoring & Compliance Manager, you will lead a newly established risk evaluation process for auto-approved engagement acceptance submissions. You’ll provide expert guidance on risk and contractual matters, collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders, and drive innovation and process improvement to enhance service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead risk evaluations and provide expert consultation on engagement acceptance and contractual escalations.
• ​Identify and mitigate potential risks using established tools and frameworks.
• ​Collaborate with U.S. Risk Management teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
• ​Drive continuous improvement in service quality, efficiency, and client value.
• ​Serve as the primary liaison for client stakeholders and manage service delivery performance.
• ​Mentor and manage a high-performing team, fostering growth and accountability.
  
  

​Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Six (6)+ years of experience in compliance or risk management, preferably in financial or professional services.
• Five (5)+ years of people management experience.
• ​Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• ​Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
