Mobile Janitorial Associate – Montego Bay & Negril

The Mobile Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of hostel facilities in Montego Bay and Negril.

The Role
We are seeking reliable and self-motivated Mobile Janitorial Associates to support the upkeep of our hostel facilities in Montego Bay and Negril. The role involves travelling between hostel properties to provide janitorial and light maintenance services, ensuring that all facilities are safe, hygienic, and welcoming for occupants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of hostel facilities, including dormitories, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and exterior spaces

• Conduct routine inspections to identify and report maintenance issues promptly

• Safely operate and maintain janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies

• Provide support in maintaining hostel property and equipment in good order

• Ensure hostels remain safe, sanitary, and well-kept at all times

• Travel between hostel sites as scheduled to provide cleaning and upkeep support

• Perform other related janitorial or hostel support duties as required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Able to work independently and manage time effectively

• Flexible, reliable, and professional in conduct

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with staff and hostel residents

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance preferred

• Must possess a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable motor vehicle

• Willing and able to travel between Montego Bay and Negril as required

• Physically fit to perform cleaning duties and lift items as needed

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary
