Mixer LMO/TS4

The Mixer is responsible for all the mixing of ingredients to produce the required number of products

Summary:            Under the direct supervision of the Shift Manager/Production Supervisor, the Mixer is responsible for all the mixing of ingredients to produce the required number of products in the Bakery Section of the Production Department.

 Duties and

Responsibilities: In performing his/her duties, the incumbent has specific responsibility for:

• Checking and cleaning the mixing machine and ensuring that it is in proper working condition.
• Checking the raw material packaging and contents to ensure that the quality of raw material has not been compromised
• Measuring or weighing the raw material to ensure the accuracy of ingredients as per product formulation and mixing instructions
• Ensuring that the syrup is properly mixed
• Transferring the correct amount of syrup to the dough to be mixed
• Ensuring that the dough is properly mixed prior to unloading the mixer in the trough
• Pushing the trough to the holding area
• Completing any associated processing forms
• Any other duties as may be required.

Minimum

Qualifications:

• Three (3) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English
• Possess a HEART Level 1 Certificate in Baking or Food Preparation  
• Possess a valid Food Handlers Permit

Minimum

Experience:

• Two (2) years experience in production

Salary:  $32,905.00 per week
