Overview:

• Hourly Rate: $27/hour
• Schedule: Part-time, shift system (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays)
• Contract: Ongoing, part-time basis
• A vehicle would be an asset
• Candidates must be readily available

Job Summary:

A medium-sized, community-based supermarket in the central area is looking for part-time Merchandisers who are readily available to join the team.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Unpack, stock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and displays
• Keep shelves clean, organized, and properly labeled
• Remove expired or damaged items and restock essential goods
• Assist with promotional setups and seasonal merchandising
• Maintain aisle and storage area cleanliness
• Provide basic customer support when needed
• Follow store protocols for health, safety, and inventory control

Qualifications:

• Five (5) CXC subjects, inclusive of Mathematics and English
• Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or stock handling is an asset
• Physically capable – able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Readily available and dependable
• Willing to work on a shift system, including weekends and holidays
• Access to a motor vehicle is an asset
