VACANCY: MERCHANDISER
(Leading Consumer Goods Company – Contract Position)

A leading consumer goods company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to support product visibility and distribution across key retail and wholesale outlets. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong brand presence, ensuring product availability, and supporting sales and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are properly displayed, stocked, and rotated in assigned outlets.

• Execute in-store promotional setups and maintain point-of-sale materials.

• Monitor inventory levels and report stock issues promptly.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with store owners, supervisors, and internal sales teams.

• Provide regular feedback on competitor activities and market trends.

• Support sales initiatives to achieve territory performance targets.

Requirements

• Five (5) CXC subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in merchandising, sales, or retail operations (FMCG experience is an asset).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Possession of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license will be an asset.

• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.

Additional Information

This is a field-based role that involves daily travel to multiple outlets. Candidates should be comfortable with physical work related to product placement and display setup.
