Retail Merchandiser

The ideal candidate will maximize customer traffic and sales through stimulating product presentations to enable the delivery of effective and creative merchandising displays, which drive sales across the organization.

 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure products are strategically displayed and stocked to maximize sales and profitability.
• Oversee inventory and condition of all visual merchandising tools, equipment, and materials (signs, fixtures, shelving, display items, etc.) in assigned stores.
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.

KEY OUTPUTS/DELIVERABLES

• Maintain and report on visual merchandising checklists.
• Execute visual merchandising, planograms and display strategies, ensuring that visual execution and assets support the merchandising plan.
• Plan for, create and implement fun, exciting visual displays in store windows and display areas.
• Implement and maintain image standards and expectations at all assigned locations as directed by agreed guidelines.
• Ensure correct pricing is visible to support a positive customer experience.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) CXC subjects, including English Language

• Solid understanding of marketing principles & retail merchandising fundamentals
• Previous visual merchandising experience required
• Understanding of merchandising concepts and trends
