Members Service Representative

The Member Services Representative is accountable to the Branch Supervisor for the effective and efficient member engagement, member needs analysis and provision of financial solutions to meet those needs in order that TIP achieves its Mission, Vision and Major Targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related discipline.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in Customer Service with specific knowledge of the Credit Union Industry.

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

1. Serve walk-in customers by requesting members’ files, holding discussions with the members.
2. Open member accounts as per instructions.
3. Analyze individual member needs and offer tailored solutions to meet those needs as per the TIP procedures.
4. Originate loans based on TIP’s requirements, ensuring all forms are complete and meet requirements before submitting for approval.
5. Serve telephone customers by responding to queries, researching records, requesting update on payments to members’ accounts and or transactions.
6. Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Members Services' Performance Report; attend the monthly team meeting to discuss performance, ensuring there are diagnoses and prognoses for any performance variances.
7. Check submissions on loans granted.
8. Evaluate & Process Members & Student Insurance Claim.
